We are livening things up a little this month with a fresh start to a new season by giving you the chance to show off some of your more stylish and creative designs (AND giving you the chance to WIN a $300/£200 voucher to spend at Empire Beads).
To enter, all you need to do is sign up as a Fan on our Fan Page on Facebook and then share your photos of your favourite and most stylish design on your best night out! This can be absolutely anything ranging from a sparkling Swarovski crystal creation with that gorgeous little black dress or a classic pair of Pearl earrings to enhance a brightly coloured ensemble. We just want to see your creative and stunning designs that accompanied your favourite outfit!
You have until the end of September 2010 to share your photos. Our team at Empire Beads will then select one lucky winner in Australia/ New Zealand and one in the UK/ Europe who has clearly invented a beautiful and individual design.

We are right in the middle of the cold months, and we think there is no better way to add to your favourite Winter coat than with an elegant Rose Lampwork Bracelet.
Our fantastic team at Empire Beads have put together this Rose Lampwork Bracelet featuring our Glass Pearls and Czech Glass Lamp Beads. The bracelet is a beautiful and classic design that you can make in the comfort of your home.
The trick to this gorgeous project is to create the bead sequence of two pearls, a lamp bead, two pearls and a diamante spacer. The materials we have used in this project include our Soft Flex Wire, Jump Rings Gold, Bar Ends in Gold, a Parrot Clasp, Split Rings in Gold, Glass Pearls in Rose Cream, Czech Glass Lamp Beads in Pink and Diamante Spacers in Gold. Our Carlotte Crimps and Round Crimps have been threaded onto the Soft Flex to hold the bracelet together at the ends.
To make the Bracelet, repeat the step of attaching the crimps at one end of the wire three times. Repeat the bead sequence twice, with the final time leaving out the diamante spacer. End the strands by stringing on the Carlotte and Round Crimps. Then use the other rows on the Diamante Spacers to join the wires together.
To finish off the bracelet, place the Bar Ends at each end of the bracelet and attach the wires to the Bar End by looping the Carlotte Crimps through a hole on the Bar End. Attach the Parrot Clasp to one Bar End using a Jump Ring and attach the Split Ring to the other Bar End using a Jump Ring. Now you are finished!
This project only took our team about 45 minutes to create and the only tools required are a pair of Round Nose Pliers, Chain Nose Pliers and Side Cutters. We hope you enjoy making and wearing this stylish bracelet!
